The mistake you seem to be making is sending an unsubscribe message to the list.

All subscribe and unsubscribe messages should be sent as follows

Subscribing. to join WESSEX-PLUS-L, send mail to
with the single word
subscribe in the message subject and body. To join WESSEX-PLUS-D,
do the same thing with
.

Unsubscribing. To leave WESSEX-PLUS-L, send mail to
with the single word
unsubscribe in the message subject and body. To leave
WESSEX-PLUS-D, do the same thing with
.
