I haven't got my big book available but my computer dictionary shows mulier
as woman.

Found a useful translation site you may want to check out.

Using this helped more and so perhaps it is something along the lines of:

Robert son of some unknown poor man and his wife.

I know it's Robertus son of...is it unmarried pauper and stranger?
