Hi Fellow listers,

I agree that we need more action on this list, so I am posting my Brookings
SD interests.

William Winsor and his wife Marion Canfield Winsor moved to Arlington,
Brookings, in the late 1870's. Their 10th child, Samuel Winsor was the
first child to be born there in 1879. I show William and his family in
Brookings Co on the 1880 census.

Known children:

Marion, b 1864
Esther, b 1865
? Winsor, b 1867
William Raymond b 1868
Henry Neal b 1870 (my line - my ggrandfather)
Charles b 1871
Albert b 1873
Fredrick b 1875
Armina b 1877
Samuel b 1879 (Brookings)
Nettie May b 1881 (also in my line)
James Arthur b 1883
Harry b 1885
Harvey b 1885
Jennie Edith b 1892 (born OK)

I believe that there may have been other Winsor families in the area. There
is a Winsor Twp in Brookings Co (or nearby at least) that is apparently
named after my Winsor ancestors, although it's not clear specifically which
one.

If anyone has an interest in the Winsor name in Brookings Co, I'd like to
hear from you and possibly share information.
